继青浦区委书记赵惠琴、区长余旭峰等领导到访协和之后，区政协主席李华桂近日率团队来我校调研考察，青浦区教育局程卫国局长等领导陪同参观。考察团在协和教育总校长卢慧文女士、青浦协和外方执行校长Selena Dumble女士的带领下，参观走访校园，面对面感受浓浓的学术氛围与蓬勃朝气。
After visits from the Secretary and the Head of Qingpu District, Ms. Zhao Huiqin and Mr. Yu Xufeng, the chairman of Qingpu CPPCC, Ms. Li Huagui lead the league visited our school accompanied by the Director of Qingpu Educational Bureau, Mr. Cheng Weiguo. With the guidance by the General Principal of Xiehe Educational Group, Ms. Maxine Lu, and the Co-acting Principal, Ms. Selena Dumble, the group felt the academic and vigorous atmosphere in SUIS Qingpu.
穿过宽敞明亮的“协和大厅”，考察团的第一站便是小学生课堂区域。走廊上摆放着孩子们的美术、书法作品，稚嫩又可爱。透过明亮的玻璃墙面，看见教室内老师与孩子们的积极互动、浸润式英语授课环境。步入初中部，看到的则是与小学不同的情景。专业的科学教室、数学教室，一下子使人感受到中高年级严谨的学习态度。
Crossing the spacious lobby, the first stop of the campus visit was the primary department. The corridor was decorated with students’ art works and calligraphy works. Seeing through the windows, visitors could see how teachers interact with students and how they implement immersed bilingual education into their classrooms. Stepping into the secondary department, visitors would see a different view, where students studied in professional science classrooms, Math classrooms, etc., which made people feel the rigorous attitude in the upper grades.
离开学习区，考察团一行人依次走访体育馆、游泳馆、餐厅等设施场所，目睹正在准备教具的老师、午后整理打扫的餐饮工作人员…… 原来充实饱满的校园生活，是由如此之多老师、员工在背后辛勤付出。
After leaving the teaching area, visitors went to the gym, swimming pool, and cafeteria, etc., and saw the hard-working behind the daily operation by all the staff in the school.
短短40分钟的参观，令考察团印象深刻。一个普通的秋日午后，看到孩子们在校园里健康快乐成长，也见证了学校对孩子们的呵护与关怀。李华桂主席和程卫国局长对我校的努力致以肯定，更勉励我们成为“青浦投资环境的品牌”和“地区社会事业发展品牌”。
Although it only took 40 minutes, the group was impressed on how our students prospered on the campus and how our school paid effort on caring the students. Ms, Li and Mr. Cheng affirmed the efforts we made and encouraged us to be the brand of Qingpu investment environment and local social undertakings progress.
