“鞋盒” 动物园 Shoe Box Zoo
欢迎参观一年级的“鞋盒”动物园!虽然一年级的萌娃们还不能外出畅游动物园,但英语学习给了他们灵感和素材,从二维书本的知识到三维空间的创造,浓缩着孩子们对英语的兴趣,闪现着孩子们对创造的渴望,也体现出孩子们对大自然的热爱。从学习者到手工制作者,再到动物园管理员,学习的过程就是认知的转变,成长的价值就是角色的转换。
Welcome to Grade 1 Shoe Box Zoo. In spite of the fact that our students cannot visit zoos, English inspires them and gives them wings to fly. They apply their two dimensional “book smarts” to creativity in three dimensions, which exemplifies their interest in English, passion for creation and love for nature. From a learner to a handicraftsman, then to a zoo keeper, the journey of learning changes our perspective naturally. The value of growth is found in the changing of roles.

身边的无名英雄 Ordinary People, Great Job
这个冬天和春天,一场疫情改变了我们的生活,让我们开始关注身边的无名英雄:医生、护士、警察、门卫、快递、司机、清洁工人…… 这些普通人在困难面前,各司其职,众志成城,用自己的正能量维系着我们生活的基本秩序。二年级的孩子们要通过“Ordinary People,Great Job”这个主题向平凡但伟大的英雄们致敬!
The COVID-19 changed our life this winter and spring. We must give praise to the unseen heroes around us: doctors, nurses, policemen, guards, couriers, drivers, and cleaners. In the face of difficulties, these ordinary people perform their duties and work together to maintain the basic order of our lives. Second-grade children pay tribute to every-day heroes through the theme of “Ordinary People, Great Job”.
三年级 Grade 3
给未来的自己寄出一张明信片 Postcards To Your Future Self
过去的四个月打破了很多平衡也带来很多平静。闷在家中的神兽们变得更加珍惜当前的一切,并期待美好的未来。 虽然在过去的四个月我们不能在学校感受同伴相处的快乐和师生交流的乐趣,但有失也有得,我们得到了独处思考的快乐,更得到了培养自律自觉的机会。给未来的自己寄出一张明信片,今天的自律成就未来的自己,未来的成功一定会感谢过去的自己。我们将二维书本上学到的英语知识通过在线方式在三维的空间中交流,获得灵感后我们又打破三维空间的限制与未来的自己对话。从凛冽的寒冬到绿意盎然的初夏,这份穿越时空的倾诉一定会给同学们留下闪闪发光的回忆。
These past four months have broken the balance in our lives, however it gave us more time to find the inner peace. Students who were trapped at home cherished more of what they had now and they looked forward to their shared future. Through we could not play and study with our classmates and teachers anymore, we gained some more, which was the happiness of thinking alone and the opportunities of cultivating self-discipline. They sent postcards to themselves in the future to express their gratitude to themselves in the past for their hard-work. They communicated with their future selves by using skills they learnt from books and teachers. This special experience will become an unforgettable memory in their lives.
四年级 Grade 4
健康小“食”者 Healthy Foodies
四个月的足不出户并没有让孩子们变成 “沙发土豆”,因为青浦协和娃都是健康小“食”者。英语学习让孩子们对平衡膳食有了进一步的了解,“色拉英语”让孩子们对制作健康美食产生了兴趣,金字塔形状的午餐盒帮孩子们将理论与生活建立联系。希望孩子们学习和认知的规律也能像“食物金字塔”那样,有“勤奋刻苦”和“脚踏实地”打底,并逐渐向顶端的“天马行空”攀登。
Four months of home-school life has not made G4 students Couch potatoes – unless it is fat with knowledge! Our Grade Four students are healthy foodies. English learning has helped the students understand the necessity of a balanced diet. Salad English Video sparked the interest of students in making healthy food. The food-pyramid lunch box assisted students in connecting theory and practice. We hope the children can build their learning pyramid as well as the food pyramid, that is from hard-work founding the base, building to creativity at the top.
