In primary class, children were writing their own riddles. Look! Some of the carefully prepared riddles were “hidden” in children’s handmade lanterns, while others were “hidden” among colorful patterns of different shapes. The music of Guqin is melodious, and the children in traditional costumes recited classical poems such as “Watching Lanterns on the 15th Night”, “New Year’s Eve of Qingyu Case” and “Lantern Festival Zhuzhi Ci”. In the process of reading and appreciating ancient poems, children gradually realized the poetic and romantic spirit of the Lantern Festival.
Lantern Riddles
In middle school department, higher grade students decorated the corridor by “Four History” riddles and colourful handmade lanterns. They invited younger students to select “the most beautiful lanterns” and “the most environmental friendly lanterns” together.
At the end of the activity, the students ate delicious dumplings, which means sweetness, reunion and all is well.
We hope that the children can have strong spirits and become more powerful in the year of the OX!
