青浦协和2021届小学五年级毕业大戏《花木兰》于6月拉开了帷幕。孩子们主导台前幕后各项工作，表演、舞美、场务…… 留下了许多美好瞬间。
SUIS Qingpu Primary Grade 5 graduation drama “Mulan” kicked off this month. The children dominated the various tasks in front of and behind the stage and left many beautiful moments.
《花木兰》作为享誉世界的中国传统故事，有着多种版本的演绎。因此小演员们需要在不同版本的基础上进一步深入思考，如何将这个故事用英语演绎，并展现给不同文化背景的观众。
Mulan is a world-famous story and has been performed in different versions. Therefore, all the young actors and actresses needed to think more deeply about how to interpret and show the story in English to the audiences, which have different cultural backgrounds.
悠扬的琵琶音，配以朗朗上口的《木兰辞》，古韵十足的舞美结合富有韵律的英文台词，激烈的战争场面融合经典主题曲《Reflection》…… 仿佛将观众带入了南北朝时期，被木兰浓浓的传奇色彩所打动。
The catchy Song of Mulan was combined with the Chinese lute. The traditional costumes were paired with cadence in English lines. The melodic theme song ‘Reflection’ was added into the thrilling war drama. This English graduation drama not only showed the English expression skills of the students, but also a comprehensive display of the talent skills and cross-cultural skills.
编剧、彩排、道具制作、后台管理，都是一群可爱的孩子在努力。老师们作为指导团队给予相应意见，但无论台前幕后，都鼓励孩子去承担相应的责任。经过不断地沟通与磨合，使得这幕毕业大戏精彩呈现！
From the arrangement, dress rehearsal, props production, to the backstage management, there were a group of silently dedicated children. The teachers gave the corresponding opinions as the guidance team, and the students also exercised the sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit in the continuous communication with the teachers.
协和教育集团总校长卢慧文为所有五年级孩子送上祝福。肯定孩子们在语言能力上的进步、台前幕后所表现出的“团魂”和管理能力，希望学子们不断挖掘内心、听从内心，像木兰一样成就自我。
Ms. Maxine Lu, General Principal of the Xiehe Education Group, sent her best wishes and thanks to all the fifth grade students. She first gave the affirmation of the language skills of the actors and actresses showed in the one-hour-long graduation drama. Then she thanked the students in front and behind the scenes for their ‘group soul’ and outstanding management abilities. Finally, she hoped that all the graduates would continue to dig into their hearts, listen to their inner voices, and form self-consciousness and realize self-value just like the spirit embodied in Mulan.
