If someone asks, “Why do people need to read?” I believe that there will be a variety of answers, but back to the root, in a word: reading is for learning. However, this kind of learning is not the same as learning in the classroom. Reading is an active, entertaining and it’s not a direct way of education, which enables children to unconsciously accept the knowledge or ideas in books while reading, so as to broaden their horizons and complete the growth of thoughts unconsciously. Therefore, we recommend some books that they are both entertaining and educational, hoping that children can enjoy reading them.

It tells the story of Tang Ao and his crew traveling overseas by boat, visiting different countries and experiencing various adventures on their journey. These countries are all reflections of various phenomena in reality, such as the female country with reversed status of men and women, the rich and unkind country, the deceitful two-faced country and so on. The author presents all kinds of social problems in his own time, the values he advocates, and the good and evil in human nature in symbolic and exaggerated ways, which makes people feel fresh, interesting and thoughtful. Therefore, someone has compared the book to “Gulliver’s Travels of the East”.
